Three People Arrested For Jacksonville Shooting

Two Fort Bragg soldiers and the victim's wife are accused of a shooting and kidnapping in Jacksonville Friday evening.

Officials say that Spec. Dwayne Robinson of Cameron, and Sgt. Juston Johnson of Fayetteville, are both charged with attempted 1st degree murder, 1st degree burglary, 3 counts of 1st degree kidnapping, and felony conspiracy.

Latasha Sutton of Fayetteville has been charged with attempted 1st degree murder, 1st degree burglary, 1st degree kidnapping, 2 counts of misdemeanor child abuse, and felony conspiracy.

Robinson and Johnson are both soldiers members of the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg.

Jacksonville police say that officers responded to Hammock Lane in Jacksonville reports of shots fired. Officers say they found the three as they were leaving the area.

Officials say the victim, Anthony Sutton, was taken to Onslow Memorial Hospital for injuries sustained during the assault. Sutton was listed in stable condition.

Records show the victim and Latasha Sutton were married in 2010.

The three went before a judge Monday morning and are being held on $550,000 bonds. Their next court date of September 16th.
