New Police Chief, New City Hall in Greenville

Monday was a big day for the city of Greenville. The new police chief, William Anderson, was sworn in. He comes to Greenville after spending two and a half years as Elizabeth City's police chief. Anderson is replacing Joe Simonowich, who retired in March after more than 35 years with the Greenville department.

Greenville also officially dedicated its new 24,000-square foot, $9,000,000 city hall Monday. Staffers and offices moved to the new location across the street at 200 Martin Luther King Junior Drive in recent weeks.
