Two former PETA employees charged with throwing 18 dogs in a dumpster found out the charges won't be dropped.
Defense attorneys for former PETA workers Adria Joy Hinkle and Andrew Cook filed a pre-trial motion saying the district attorney's office is using vindictive prosecution in the case.
Hinkle and Cook are charged with disposing of 18 dogs in a commercial dumpster in Hertford County last fall. The judge in the case rejected the motion.
A trial date has not yet been set.
