Raising Awareness by Running for a Cause

Over 2,000 miles of road and 16 days of running. More than 4000 law enforcement officers around the state are doing their part to lend a helping hand or leg we should say, to raise awareness for the Special Olympics that kick off next month in Raleigh. At the Greenville Town Common Thursday, lawmen lit the Summer Games cauldron for their leg of the journey. The games take place in June in Raleigh.
