Hope For Dogs Found Abused In Tarboro Home

There is hope for seven dogs found abused, neglected, and starving in Tarboro. Fifty-five-year-old Belinda Ann Haddock is charged with animal cruelty after five dead dogs were found in her house, along with the seven they say were abused. The Pekingese and yellow Labrador were recovered from Haddock's Tarboro home. The animals are in the custody of animal control officials and are now looking for a home for them. For now, Teresa Summerlin, trained in animal care, is caring for the dogs until permanent homes can be found.
