Woman Charged With Animal Cruelty

A sad and heartbreaking story out of Tarboro. A dozen dogs were found either dead or starving in a mobile home. Belinda Ann Haddock, 55 years old, has been charged with 14 counts of animal cruelty. Authorities say when they arrived at the mobile home, they found five of the dogs dead and seven of them starving to death. Those dogs were sent to the animal shelter. Deputies went to the mobile home after complaints of a foul smell and searched the residence, where they found the dogs.
