Looking for a way to boost your brain in old age? Make sure you're getting your vitamins!

Researchers in the UK studied over 100 elderly adults, each underwent brain scans and physical exams at the start of the study, then had the same tests done 5 years later. They found those who had the highest amount of vitamin B12 in their blood were six times less likely to have brain shrinkage, compared to those with the lowest levels.

B12 is found in meat, fish and fortified cereal and milk. It also comes in supplement form.
