Got a minute? The North Carolina Arts Council has a museum to show you.

The council has begun a new Web program titled "Museums in a Minute" to spotlight museums in North Carolina.

The one-minute programs include a video tour of the museum's permanent collection, along with a short profile of the museum and exhibitions scheduled this fall.

First up is the North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh.

A new video will be released each Tuesday during September. Featured museums include: The Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University in Durham; the Mint Museum in Charlotte; the Asheville Museum of Art; and the Gregg Museum of Art & Design at North Carolina State University in Raleigh.
