"Sounds Of Freedom" Airshow This Weekend

The "Sounds of Freedom" could be heard over the skies of Jacksonville. Friday afternoon the airshow at Marine Corps Air Station New River kicked off with a full scale rehearsal of this weekend's upcoming performance. Organizers say the event will showcase some of the most dynamic flight demonstrations in the world. The teams that are scheduled to appear at the air show include the Canadian Snowbirds, the U.S. Army Black Daggers parachute team and several other world air acrobats. Gates open at 9 a.m. Saturday at Marine Corps Air Station New River in Jacksonville. Admission and parking are free.
