Cape Lookout National Seashore staff in Harkers Island have implemented the emergency weather evacuation plan due to the approach of tropical storm Hanna.

Cape Lookout National Seashore staff in Harkers Island have implemented the emergency weather evacuation plan due to the approach of tropical storm Hanna.
A mandatory evacuation of all visitors from the seashore islands will be implemented for this storm. The park will be closed to all visitors and all services will be shut down beginning on Thursday, September 4, at 5:00 PM, until further notice.
