Almost 300 people have been arrested so far while protesting the Republican National Convention in Minnesota.

Thousands of people showed up to protest the convention in Saint Paul, and police say a group of almost 200 protesters turned violent Monday afternoon smashing windows and throwing trash cans in the street.
Police arrested at least 284 people, most of them are facing misdemeanor charges.

More protests are expected Tuesday as the convention continues.

The Democrats only believe in free speech when they are the ones doing the talking. That's why they push for the 'fairness doctrine'. Conservative talk radio is kicking their tales, and liberal talk radio can't make any money without government help or some other sort of assistance. I would be willing to bet that if you follow the money on these demonstrators it would track back to George Soros. He probably made sure that it can't be traced to him though.

Hey protesters!! How oxymoronic does it sound to violently protest a war? Kinda like lets protest violence with violence.

these slugs represent the party of sharpton, jackson, hanoi jane fonda, pelosi and the sanctuary city of san francisco, and on and on. this is the party of obama and clinton and jimmy carter. all of whom i don't relate to.

2 2=4. You do not see this type of protesting at the "democratic" parties "lovefest". Yet these loonies show up at Repub conferences and act like a bunch of caring citizens. They should be pounded into submission when they start destroying property and raising anarchy in the streets. The banner of free expression in the USA does NOT allow this kind of hooliganism. We must make them afraid to use such TERRORIST tactics in the streets of a civilized nation.

Why would the anarchists "like" the democrats yet disrupt the RNC. Guess the party of loons is correct. They have attracted all kinds. I guess it is the sincere form of flattery. They must know that the DNC wouldn't tolerate it. Republicans at least have enough decency not to disrupt the DNC or love fest.

It wasn't Democrats causing violence it was anarchists, they are apposed to both party's. They just like Democrats a little more.

Among those arrested was Any Goodman, host of "Democracy Now!" So much for the First Amendment.

This story says a lot about the democrats. Notice, the republicans didn't do anything at the DNC. According to some of the news stations, they were flown in and bused in by the leftest side of the party with the only intention to disrupt. They should be accountable to repairs and damages they caused. This is why I vote Republican...
