All this week, nurses are in the spotlight during "National Nurses Week." At Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, there are over 1600 nurses employed. Tom Czaplijski, Chief Nursing Officer at the hospital, says we should take time out to acknowledge the men and women who are part of a profession that brings healing, compassion, and care to so many patients in need.
Czaplijski also says there's still a nationwide shortage of nurses.
