The group "Stop Torture Now" made their presence known at the board meeting for the Global Transpark in Kinston. About 15 people showed up to urge the Global Transpark board to investigate Aero contractors Limited. It's a company the group says is hired by the C.I.A. to fly suspects the government arrests to torture prisons around the world. "Stop Torture Now" says the company operates flights out of the Kinston jet port. The group's request to be heard at the beginning of the board meeting was denied. Chairman Gene Conti said the board would not hear comments until all items on the agenda were complete.
