New Bern Police have arrested the parents of 9 week old Aaliyah Green and charged them with the infant's death.

The arrests were made Friday. Mondtrail Boskey and Victoria Green are charged with an open count of murder. On February 28th of this year, Aaliyah Green, was taken to The Craven Regional Medical Center Emergency Room for an unknown medical condition. On February 29th, Green reportedly died as a result of her injuries. Police say an autopsy was performed and showed the death was the result of non-accidental blunt force trauma to the head.

Both Boskey and Green are being held without bond.

These people that do these crimes to innocent children must be seriously sick in the head. How could you look at YOUR child and even think about hitting them in the head. This is horrible and I hope justice will be served!!!

(kinston Location:) I agree with you kinston,before any woman or man hurt a child, just give them away to someone who will take care of them.this is what really hurt (non-accidental blunt force trauma to the head).

My tears go out for you little Aaliyah. I am so sorry your life on earth was only 9 weeks. I truly believe the Good Lord has another Angel at his side. Rest in peace little Aaliyah
