Atlantic Beach Police say a gun accident turned fatal Sunday afternoon.

Atlantic Beach Police say a gun accident turned fatal Sunday afternoon.
Police say two best friends, 26 year old Justin Corbett Ellingsworth and 25 year old Donald Robert Jones Jr, were unloading some guns, when Jones accidentally pulled the trigger, shooting Ellingsworth in the chest. Ellingsworth was taken to Carteret General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police say it all happened 115 Hoop Pole Creek Drive in Atlantic Beach a little after noon Sunday. Police are still investigating and charges could be brought against Jones.
