Source Says Indictments Issued In Duke Lacrosse Case

The Associated Press says a source tells them a grand jury has issued sealed indictments against two members of the Duke University lacrosse team. The indictments are in connection with allegations by a black woman that she was raped last month at a team party by three white men. The woman, a stripper, told police she was attacked March 13 in a bathroom at a party held by the lacrosse team. It's not known which players were indicted. That may not be known until there are any arrests. The grand jury simply considers evidence presented by prosecutors, not by defense attorneys.
