Two days after he scaled a twenty foot wall to get away, an inmate from the Edgecombe County Jail is still on the loose. The Edgecombe County Sheriff says 32-year-old Lamont King and another inmate were in the jail's exercise yard when King peeled back part of an inside fence, and climbed the outside fence, allowing him to run into the woods and escape. Authorities were able to stop the other inmate. There is a reward for information leading to King's capture. You can contact the Edgecombe County Sheriff's Department at 252-641-7911.
