A block of Main Street in downtown Ahoskie is no longer there after a fire burned it to the ground Sunday morning. Fire investigators say Daniels Flea Market, housed in an old warehouse along Main Street burned down around 8 a.m. Fire officials had a fire Saturday that may have been started intentionally so they are investigating this fire extremely closely looking for signs of arson. In all there were around eight fire departments that responded to try and get this fire under control. Firemen were still putting out hot spots at three Sunday afternoon.
