Hundreds of new jobs are coming to Martin County.
Ann's House of Nuts says it will add 263 jobs over the next three years.
The Robersonville company is a national leader in the production of roasted nuts, dried fruits and snacks.
The state, through it's One North Carolina Fund, kicked in a $65,000 grant to help make the $2.3 million expansion possible.
The average pay for the new jobs will be $34,979, well above the Martin County average of $28,804.

You go Robersonville!! for bringing in some more jobs for the people thats close by or willing to travel there to go to work. Its about time some more jobs come around the area. Along witht he new Sonic in front of the new Walmart and the new Murphy Gas station...im thankful, now so many will not have to travel so far out to go to work or whatever. Martin County is coming on up arent we? Thats a good thing, now I hope that some of the kids will apply for some of these parttime jobs so they will not get into alot of trouble out here, b/c once you get in it, its hard as I dont know what to get out of--so good looking out Martin County.
