Hummus, Dips Recalled At Popular Stores

Several stores are pulling certain brands of hummus and dips off their shelves.

Lansal, Inc., is pulling its hummus and dips products off the shelf due to concerns about possible bacterial contamination.

There are concerns over whether the products could be tainted with listeria, a food-borne bacterium, which can cause serious and even fatal infections for some.

Products of Lansal, Inc. include Target Archer Farms Hummus products, Trader Joe's 5 Layered Dip, Edamame Hummus and certain Giant Eagle Hummus products.

To date, no illnesses have been reported in connection with the recall.
