26-Year-Old North Carolina Man Fatally Shot On Duck Hunting Trip

Authorities are investigating the death of a hunter found shot in Lee County.

Deputies say Robert Devitto's friends found him about 8 p.m. Tuesday when he didn't return home from duck hunting alone on state wildlife game lands.

The 26-year-old Broadway resident was flown to a hospital in Raleigh. He was removed from life support and died about 1 p.m. Friday.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office is offering a cash reward for information on the case.
