A plumber working on renovations at a restaurant in Salinas, California says he found an image of the Virgin Mary in a floor drain Wednesday.

The man says he was working the drainage system for a new restaurant when he noticed the unusual image.

The new owner of the restaurant says the building has housed several different businesses, and he sees the image as a blessing of hope for the new restaurant.

There is no word yet on whether the Diocese of Monterey will investigate the sighting as legitimate.

WITN wouldn't even post what I said, and all I said was it looked like a breast. I guess we all aren't mature enough to read the word breast. Just how many doobies did this dude puff on before finding this as an image? It's a nasty stain, that's all! Nothing more! Unless you are hyped up on drugs then I am sure it would also be Bart Simpson or a rainbow!! lol Seriously though, I do appreciate a little get away from the everyday bad news we have been getting but please for God Sakes, find something that more than one person would be entertained by... Oh and for "Holy Smoke"... PUFF PUFF PASS HOMIE! Because I don't see the dog either!!

It is a rust stain. If the Virgin Mary is going to make an appearance it isn't going to be in a floor drain. Why don't you reporters actually report some news? Spend a little more time getting some facts and information on something that is a news story and less time just producing copy. What passes for news these days is a major part of the "dumbing down" of society.

This is a pitiful excuse of a photo enlargement feature. Just like the photos of the couple that tied their kid to a tree. You had two thumbnails that said "Click Pictures to Enlarge" and when you clicked them, the enlarged version was pretty much the same size as the one at the top of the story. Why even have an enlarge photo feature if it dont enlarge but about 25 pixels?

Investigate a stain? The only places it's recorded Mary was physically present are Israel and Egypt. The Bible records nothing about a floor drain.
