Its a parent's nightmare. A trusted babysitter abducted a child according to Craven County Sheriff's Deputies. Officers say 9 month old Kara Ashton Hill was taken by Uri Erik Rowenko Friday afternoon, prompting law enforcement to issue an amber alert. At around 3:30 Saturday, nearly 24 hours after the abduction, deputies say Rowenko called the child's mother saying he was returning the child. Sheriff's deputies took Rowenko into custody, and now little baby Kara has been reunited with her mother.
