Canine Crawl Helps Homeless Pets

The Greenville Town Commons was crawling with K-9s and their owners to help raise money for homeless pets.

The 6th Annual Canine Crawl kicked off Saturday morning in hopes of raising awareness and money for all of the shelter animals in Pitt County. The Pitt County Humane Society organized the event. It had a doggy walk, pet games, a raffle, agility demonstrations and of course great treats. Our own Jim Howard got to emcee the event, but of course the goal was to raise money for the humane society.

If seeing all these great dogs, puts you in the mood to adopt one, just get in touch with the Pitt County Humane Society.
