It's a big effort in a small town to help raise money to fight cancer.
Every few days a different resident in Aurora, in Beaufort County, finds a set of flamingos in their front yard. Along with the birds, they also find a letter telling the them they have been "flocked." Once that resident has been "flocked," they keep the birds for about four days, and then pay $35 to send them flying to someone else's yard.
Those running the event say they have raised about $300 so far for Relay-for-Life, and hope to raise much more.
