UPDATE: Silver Alert Issued For Missing North Carolina Man Is Cancelled
A silver alert for a missing man suffering for dementia, has now been cancelled.

Authorities issued a Silver Alert for 77 year old Cecil Lee Perry from Forsyth County last night.

Witnesses say he asked for directions to the Sunset Beach area. Authorities believed Perry was head to Calabash.

North Carolina Crime Patrol cancelled the alert shortly after two this afternoon. Calls to find out his condition were not returned.

PREVIOUS STORY:
The North Carolina center for missing persons has issued a silver alert for a missing man.

Authorities are on the lookout 77 year old Cecil Lee Perry who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment. They say Perry was last seen wearing black jeans and a black button down shirt and asking for directions in the Sunset Beach area around 7:30 Saturday evening.

Authoritites beleive Perry may be headed to Calabash. He's traveling in a 1996 blue Plymouth Vouyer.
