School Locked Down Due To Threat

A high school student threatening others with a gun is what led to the massive lock down of an elementary school in Wilson County on Thursday, according to Wilson Police. The Wilson Police Department says Well's Elementary School locked and shut their doors to protect students and staff after a student from Fike High School reportedly threatened others with a gun. Police say the suspect was seen near Well's Elementary School, but a gun was never found. No charges will be filed.
