Seven people were injured in an early morning shooting in Kinston Sunday.
Police say the seven men were shot with two separate guns. It all happened after a brawl broke out inside the Stop One Restaurant on South Queen Street in Kinston, according to authorities.
Officials are still searching for the shooters in the case, but say the area around the restaurant has a long history of shootings and stabbings. Since 2000, police have reported over 40 cases of shootings and stabbings in and around the restaurant.
Kinston police say right now they have no suspects in the shooting, but investigators believe there was more than one gunman.
Police say they were notified of the shooting when the victims showed up at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
Two of the victims, Michael Davis, Jr. and Rodric Harrison, were transferred to Pitt County Memorial Hospital. A hospital spokeswoman says Harrison is in serious condition, while Davis is listed in good condition at PCMH.
A third victim, Allen Simon, went to Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro where he was treated and released.
Four other victims, Stefon Robinson, Johnny Waters, Tyrone Whitfield, and Carlton Bryant were all treated and released from the hospital.
