Wednesday, WITN told you about a woman shot by a man while driving in her car down Mobley's Bridge Road in Pitt County. So we wanted to know what you should do if you feel you are being threatened while driving?
We posed that question to Washington authorities. They told us they often get telephone calls from drivers who feel they are being threatened while behind the wheel.
Washington lawmen say phoning authorities is one of the best things you can do. They also say never drive home if you think you are being followed. They suggest you go around the block and then head back to your house to determine if you are being followed.
Authorities also say, cell phones are a great tool in case of emergency.
