A Greenville resident was awakened by flames early Thursday morning in what is being called a suspicious fire by investigators. Now they're trying to figure out exactly what happened around two Thursday morning at 1206 Battle Street. Firemen say when they arrived on the scene, the house was engulfed in flames. It appears to have started at the back of the home. But how? Fireman say there was no electricity running to the house and it was supposed to be abandoned. Turns out the home was not abandoned, and officials say someone was there when the fire started.
