We have reports of a transformer fire in Warsaw in Duplin county after a tree fell on it. Revelle Road also had a tree fall across it.

In Edgecombe County, reports of flash flooding on several streets in Tarboro occurred before 8pm and then a tree fell on Highway 258.

The Northern and Western parts of Halifax county also has flooded streets.

We had a lighting hit one of our trees. It went all the way down the trunk and then hit our dogs electric fence shooting both ways and into our garage. It blew the main part of the fence into 3 peices. Our telephone line dont work. We have tried several phones and the line is also broken. What a night...at least no one was injured.
