Changing our military to better fight the war on terror. That's what brought Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld to Camp Lejeune Friday.
Secretary Rumsfeld looked on for an activation ceremony for the Marine Corps Special Operations Command at Camp Lejeune. The Marines now join the Army, Navy and Air Force, which already have special operations troops.
Rumsfeld says the addition will help fight terrorism. The Marines Special Command will be based at Camp Lejeune and will include about 2,500 troops by 2010.
