It's what people have been talking about all day, the snow. Most counties saw some of the white stuff early Monday morning, but it quickly melted. On the Outer Banks they got a dusting that covered the area in white. Most folks didn't seem to mind, getting outside for a morning walk, or yes even a swim. John Michael Mostow was so excited about the snow he decided to do his own impromptu polar plunge. The snow on the Outer Banks lasted a few hours before turning into a mix of rain and sleet, enough to close schools in Dare County for the day.
