A Greenville Area Transit bus was involved in an accident Monday afternoon on Arlington Boulevard.
It happened around 12:25 p.m. in front of Suddenlink Communications.
There was only minor damage to the GREAT bus and no serious injuries, though paramedics are checking out passengers.
Police say the accident involved two cars and the bus. They say one car, with two elderly women inside, pulled out in front of another car, which slammed on its brakes. The bus couldn't stop in time, and rear-ended the second car.
The driver of the second car was transported to Vidant Medial Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The right west-bound lane of Arlington Boulevard was closed for about a half hour because of the accident.
