Big Move on OBX

It was quite a site on the Outer Banks Wednesday. An old cookhouse traveled over the Bonner Bridge in Dare County to Roanoke Island.

It's being returned to the ancestors of the men she fed, a bridge between a rich legacy as the only all black corps of the old U.S. Lifesaving Station, and a brighter future as a center where African-Americans can learn about their place in Outer Banks history.
