What Time Is Trick Or Treat This Year?

Ghosts and goblins will soon be filling area streets and roads, looking for those tricks or treats for Halloween.

This year, most if not all areas will have trick or treat on Thursday night. Some communities do not designate trick or treat times, leaving that up to residents and parents of youngsters.

Here is a list we've compiled for this year's Halloween fun:

Carteret County - no designated day/time
Goldsboro - October 31 from 6-8:00 p.m.
Greenville - no designated day/time
Havelock - October 31 from 5-9 p.m.
Jacksonville - October 31 from 5-9 p.m.
Jones County - no designated day/time
Kinston - no designated day/time
Lenoir County - October 31 from 6-8:30 p.m.
Maysville - October 31 from 6-8:30 p.m.
New Bern - October 31 begin at dusk.
Onslow County - October 31 from 5-9 p.m.
Pitt County - no designated day/time
Pollocksville - October 31 from 5-7:30 p.m.
Rocky Mount - October 31, no set hours
Trenton - no designated day/time
Washington - no designated day/time
Wayne County - October 31 from 6-8:30 p.m.
