Imagine walking out of a store at night, and finding two strangers in your car. Greenville Police say that happened to a man leaving the Greenville Wal-Mart early Tuesday. That ended up leading to a police chase.

Greenville police say two suspected gang members were arrested.

Authorities say when the man spotted the two men in his car, they took off running. A police officer patrolling the area later spotted who is believed to be the same men, because the matched the descriptions of the men that broke into the car, police say. Detectives say the two men took off running from police.

Police say one of the men was caught quickly, but the other proved more elusive. Police set up a perimeter near Pitt Community College and brought in a K-9 to capture the other man. Both men were taken into custody.

Police have charged Luis Flores, 18, of Washington and Anthony Velisco, 16, of Greenville with breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and resist, delay and obstruct an officer.

According to police, one of the teens was wearing a shirt with a gang name on it, while the other had a tattoo representing the same gang. Both are in the Pitt County Detention Center on $3,000 secured bond.

hey obama o8 for prez, You can thank your own culture for people calling them Thugs. The word originated in the black culture and unfortunatly most people, black and white dont even know where the word comes from. If you want to eliminate it, start with your own people.

Things like this is why I am scared of going to Greenville alone with my two little girls. People that do things like this should be punished. Not just put in jail and placed on a $3,000 secured bond because they can get out and do it again but could hurt someone the next time.
