Bertie County authorities say an Ahoskie woman jumped from a moving pickup truck, got caught underneath the vehicle, and was dragged about 500 feet Monday night.
Lawmen say Misty Adams Dunloe jumped because she had a fight with the man driving the pickup, whom they say she does know. Dunloe is in critical condition. The State Highway Patrol says charges against the driver are unlikely at this point.
