That's why the Progressive Action and Restoration Corporation held this two day housing expo at the Pitt County fairground this weekend.
Organizers say the event helps potential homeowners budget and shop for a new home with a little extra incite from those at Greenville Utilities about how to cut cost once you're in that home.
Executive Director Jacqueline Dawson says one of the primary points of the event is offering those facing foreclosure some viable options and helpful suggestions so they can keep that roof over their heads.
Area Realtors, Bank Representatives and Greenville City Mayor Pat Dunn Were on hand this morning, encouraging participants to take advantage of programs like this to help get them through these tough economic times.
