A man was hit by lightning on a North Carolina beach, died and was revived.
Witnesses say lightning struck the man in the head.
His wife, who was holding his hand, was thrown into the air. She reportedly has minor burns.
It happened after 3 p.m. Monday in Surf City, which is near the border of Onslow and Pender counties.
The victim, Demitri Khorokhorimn of Russia, was taken to the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center in Chapel Hill. As of Monday afternoon, he was listed in good condition.
