If you happen to be on campus at East Carolina University, why not stop off and donate some blood?
A two day blood drive at Mendenhall Student Center kicked off Tuesday.
All types of blood are needed and the American Red Cross hopes to collect 110 pints.
They will also collect your red blood cells, with the use of a double red blood cells machine. That's a particular kind of drawing where they actually draw two bags, but they give all the plasma, or liquid portion of the blood back, and that can help twice as many people because it's twice as much volume and you don't have to give as often.
The drive continues Wednesday.
