First Ever Librarian Networking Summit

Its an effort by the keepers of the books to beef up their effectiveness for our students.

Librarians talked with fellow librarians at the first networking summit at Joyner Library at East Carolina University Saturday. The conference let librarians share what works and what doesn't work with their students. A number of librarians from schools ranging in ages from kindergarten through 12th grade had a number of groups to learn from, and officials know their work pays off on report cards.

This was the first librarian networking summit, but officials are hoping to have more in the months and years ahead.
