For the second time this summer, Greenville police were looking for a dog owner involved in a biting case at the city's dog park. This time the victim was a 2-year-old child.
It happened yesterday around 3:30 p.m. at the off-leash dog park on North Ash Street.
The child received minor bite wounds, while park rules prohibit children less that 55-inches tall from entering the park.
Police say they have now identified the owner of the dog.
Animal Control says no criminal charges are being filed, they just wanted to verify that the dog is up to date on rabies shots.
