City Seeks Buyer for Old Warehouse

The city of Greenville is looking for potential buyers for the former Keel Warehouse on Dickinson Avenue in West Greenville. The former tobacco and cotton warehouse has been vacant for about eight years and is now owned by the city. Parts of the dilapidated structure have been destroyed by past storms. Greenville's director of public works, Tom Tysinger says although the warehouse doesn't fall into the 45-block area that's part of West Greenville's revitalization, the city still wants to clean up the property because it is a major entry to the downtown area.
