Bottled water in stores is jumping off the shelves and into carts as people rush to the stores to buy up as much water as they can.

Many stores have run out of water and others are using their entire summer stock to handle the demand. Many stores say people began crowding the stores buying water to last during the boil water advisory. Some stores say their their supply was gone within hours.

Shoppers were filling their cars with cases of water. Many consumers say they are not sure how long the notice will last and they want to be prepared.

The Lowes store in Washington was shipping several loads of Water to its two Greenville stores Thursday morning. Atleast 2 flatbed trucks were seen leaving the Washington store heading to Greenville.

Walmart still had water this morning. As a side note i had a nice home cooked meal last night that did not require water.

Shocked to find RiteAid on Charles St. RAISING its bottled water prices yesterday afternoon! I'll be going to Harris Teeter from now on thank you very much!

It is not a surprise, these same panic buyers also flood the stores when there is a slight possibility of a few snow flurries in the winter. What rediculous ninnies who fear the sky is falling... get a life people, this same situation happens around the country on a daily basis. The water advisory will be lifted and the panic life in Greenville will be back to normal once again. People who rely on restaurants also for their daily meals need to learn how to cook at home, you don't have to use water for every meal. Walk through the grocery store sometime, you might be enlightened.

Does any one know where bottled water can still be found?

I dont blame them one bit either. Weve been left in the dark for 12-18 hours about the water situation....When people are used to relying on others for thier food and beverage services and then suddenly within hours those services are no longer available....OF COURSE people are gonna freak out....I mean for crying out loud I couldnt even find a bag of PLAIN FRITOS and sheetz last night?
