There's been another sentencing in that $1.2 million armored Truck heist in Washington two years ago.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says Lenard Smith of Timberlake, NC was sentenced Tuesday to nearly 13 years in federal prison.
Smith and two other men robbed the Garda armored vehicle outside the Bank of America on Carolina Avenue back on June 23, 2011.
One defendant, Emmanuel Wallace, III, was previously sentenced to 252 months in prison for his role in the robbery. Another co-defendant, Charles Moore, Jr., was previously sentenced to 171 months in prison. Each was also ordered to make restitution.
The feds say $250,000 of the cash has been recovered, while Smith and the others have been ordered to pay back $963,766 in restitution.
