A woman in Greenville tells WITN a stray bullet could have been catastrophic after it flew into her home on Peed Drive.
The woman did not want to go on camera, but says a bullet came whizzing through just before 9:00 p.m. Monday night, and ended up lodged in the wall of her son's bedroom. Fortunately, he wasn't inside, but she says if he had been on his bed, he would have been hit. She says she heard several gunshots before the bullet came through her window.
Greenville Police reports show another shooting took place at the apartment building just up the street at 703 Peed Drive around the same time last night.
Greenville Police say no injuries were reported and no arrests had been made as of late Tuesday.
