Princeville Residents Offer Katrina Victims Advice

The holidays are a difficult time for residents of New Orleans struggling with rebuilding in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Now, some folks from Eastern Carolina are offering help and hope. The town of Princeville in Edgecombe County was flooded by Hurricane Floyd in 1999 and nearly everyone in the small, historic town was forced to evacuate. Residents say their advice to New Orleans residents is not to let emotions rule their decisions on whether to leave or return and rebuild.
