Virtually every in-patient at Pitt County Memorial Hospital received some holiday cheer Wednesday, from a group of teens that want to give back for the holiday.
The volunteers went from room to room to deliver gifts to the patients.
Etsel Mason, Director of Volunteer Services, says the tradition of volunteers visiting patients was started 24 years ago by the Pitt County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Volunteers.
The teens represent every high school in Greenville and volunteer through a joint program between their schools and the hospital.
