Monday Busiest Day of the Year for U.S. Postal Service

Monday was the busiest mailing day for the United States Post Office all year, but it was also the last day to get your parcel post shipment delivered on time unless you're willing to pay more money.

Ken Collins, the Postmaster at the Chocowinity branch, says you can get your stuff there before Christmas if you use their Priority Mail service. Collins says letters going to destinations up to 600 miles away will take between two to three days. Anything going to the West Coast could take up to four days.
